Twitter is amazing, I can now send/receive messages from India's foreign minister, Shashi Taroor via twitter.
Shashi Taroor's twitter page: http://twitter.com/ShashiTharoor
There are a host of other popular figures whom one can follow on twitter. Also, first hand information by citizens are available on twitter.
I've been part of a generation who has seen the internet evolve during the late 90's and am still amazed by the new features/tools that keep coming up.
Was looking for a way to send tweets without accessing the twitter website and found one. All one has to do is to signup online at tweet.im and accept the user account on gtalk/jabber. And I'm now tweeting via IM :-)

ReplyDeleteSo very true! The face of the Internet has changed so much over a span of a decade - and then some. And we haven't a clue where it is going to take us!
Nice to have come across your blog.
J.
